Tesamorelin is a synthetic trans-3-hexenoic acid–modified analog of endogenous growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1–44), engineered for enhanced plasma stability. It stimulates pulsatile growth hormone secretion from somatotropic cells of the anterior pituitary via the GHRH receptor, with downstream IGF-1 induction. Originally studied in HIV-associated lipodystrophy, Tesamorelin has broad utility in metabolic research, body composition studies, and investigations into GH/IGF-1 axis modulation. Batch ID: TS.10.
